Chapter 1:

Samus was having a bad month. After almost getting killed by the gelatinous X, losing her personalized Hunter-class gunship, and getting her power-suit surgically gutted, she thought the month had started poorly. Having to fight off her doppelgangers and wipe out the Metroid species for the third time only soured her further. And now here she was, on the run from the Federation in a borrowed gunship, and she was bloated.

“When it rains it pours…” mumbled the young Hunter, bracing against another unwanted cramp as her craft barreled aimlessly through space.

“What’s wrong, Lady?” her ship’s AI asked, concern evident in its wording if not its tone.

“Pretty sure its just stress Adam.” she snapped lightly, her teeth gritted against a wave of nausea.

“If that’s the case, maybe you should get some rest. The galaxy is safer than it’s ever been, so kick your feet up. Go home, relax for awhile… well, somewhere like home. Less… exploded.” advised her computerized Commanding Officer.

“Rest… never was much for slacking off but I guess I’ve earned it…” she pondered, going through the very short list of planets she both enjoyed being on and hadn’t been involved in their destruction. Aether was too crowded, the Luminoth treated her like a saint. Elysia was good for a day, but the appeal of the flying city had worn off quickly… not to mention it was a Federation outpost. And then there were the hellhole’s like Bryyo, or places filled with horrid memories like Tallon IV. “...I haven’t been to many planets that I liked that didn’t soon turn into an asteroid field. Any suggestions?”

“Preferred parameters: Lack of Federation influence, lack of extreme temperatures, lack of intelligent life… Planet Cattleya II should do well Lady, as long as you avoid the ice-caps. The reduced gravity should also be enjoyable, especially considering your increased weight.”

“...my what?” She said in a flat monotone, finger poking into her bloated stomach.

“You’ve been cooped in the ship for the better part of a month. The rations were going to win over your inactivity at some point.” her AI companion snarked. “Laying in a course for Cattleya II. Will land momentarily…”

~

The planet seemed fairly green from orbit, and on landing was even more lush. The forests stretched as far as the eye could see, with large gaps between the trunks of ancient trees. Large grey disc-shaped creatures scuttled across the roots at regular intervals, the spiky-skinned rodents trundling along on their way. A particularly slow specimen fell out of a tree, landing on its back directly in front of the orange-clad Hunter.

“It isn’t home without Zoomers…” muttered Samus, sorely tempted to kick the simple-minded example of the galaxy’s most invasive species. “Adam, I’m going out for target practice later.”

“Just focus on relaxing today. That’s an order, Lady.”

“Alright…” Samus sighed. She had convinced herself a nice hike would help burn off whatever excess she had put on, so with nothing but a backpack full of supplies and the clothes on her back she wandered off into the wilderness. Her stomach started grumbling soon after, and she found herself reaching for her backpack for a ration bar. The motion became automatic as she made her way up a small mountain, cresting its peak by nightfall. Setting up her sleeping bag, and stripping off her orange vest and shorts in favor of her blue bikini underwear, she started a small fire to cook her less ready-to-eat rations. She ended up cooking everything she had, but the fact never registered in her mind. She was hungry, so she ate, and that’s where the train of thought ended. Snuggling down into her sleeping bag, she slowly began to drift off to slumber. Just as unconsciousness was about to claim her, she felt a warmth beginning to bud in her core. She rolled over trying to get comfortable again, but the soothing heat began to creep from her core downward. She began to pant as it filled her sensitive folds and stimulated her in ways she had never felt were possible. As her panting began to reach a fevered pitch, and some even became cute moans, she felt release as she settled into unconsciousness…

~

When Samus awoke the next morning she felt better than she had in ages. She expected to feel sore from her hike, but maybe her AI had been quick to judge how out-of-shape she was. She reached for her bag for a breakfast treat, but was saddened to find how little was left. “Damn, Zoomers must have got into my bag last night.” she pouted, grabbing one of the few remaining bars of nutrients and quickly packing up camp. When she slid on her vest, however, she hit a small snag. Her zipper gave her trouble at the apex of her twin swells. Her breasts, never small by any means, seemed to have grown recently. The same happened with her shorts, the waistband getting caught on her rump before settling on a small paunch that she still hoped was just stress bloating. The Hunter rushed down the mountain and took the most direct path back to her ship. Her automatic snacking had emptied her bag much faster than she thought possible, and she wanted more. Needed more. By the time her ship was in sight she was running full pelt, zeroing in on her food storage unit. She ripped the door open and grabbed a few bars, working quickly to shuck their packaging before devouring the contents. The motion sensors tripped and woke the onboard AI from power-saver mode, and for a moment the device was stunned.

“...good morning, Samus. Is everything alright?” The robot asked in his usual monotone.

“Just fine!” she snapped “Some bastard vermin or other raided my food while I was out. I’m just hungry.”

“You’re sure? Maybe I should run a medical diagnostic?” queried the computerized man, machinery already sliding into position around the pilot’s chair.

“...fine.” she huffed, grabbing another bar from the storage unit before slamming the door closed. She settled into her chair as the machinery buzzed to life around her. After a few moments, and having eaten the last bar on her person, she began to grow irritable. “These scans are usually over by now, what’s taking so long?”

“Just… having to run a few extra scans to confirm something. May I get a blood sample for verification?” it asked, a syringe popping out of one of the devices.

“Sure, if you need it.” She said, getting slightly worried. A quick prick and the devices retreated back into their crevasses. “I’ll… be over at the fridge.” she mumbled. The AI whirred, busy processing data, cross-referencing, and processing again. Its more human aspects were causing it to re-run the tests. It couldn’t believe what it was seeing… but considering who and WHAT Samus was, it was entirely possible. His processors couldn’t lie, or make leaps of logic, so this was the only option. He refocused on the woman raiding the pantry and prepared the results.

“According to the test results, you are completely healthy. Extraordinarily, even.”

“Zat’s goo’, righ’?” she mumbled around a mouthful of nutrient bars.

“Scans also show an uncountable number of excess life-forms in your womb. I suppose congratulations are in order.” Samus froze.

“WHAT!?”

Woo! New pic :D
This one belongs to the first chapter of Mama Samus. The story has been written by my wordsmith friend :iconotakucaboose:. He's done an amazing job. So yeah, go check the story on his dA page. Give him some love as well.
Anyway, here's a smol Samus with wiggle tum.
Did some nice experiments with shading and lights with this as well. Hope y'all like it :D
And thanks Zero for making this story. I started this as a practice sketch for little tum-tum's that turned into a coloured sketch commission with super fancier effects. Hope it is to your liking :D

Samus Aran & the Metroid franchise belongs to Nintendo, who should treat Samus better just like my pal Zero here is doing.
